The City has been informed by WSSC of a scheduled construction on the 4100 Block of Rainier, Ave starting on June 27, 2022 to August 30, 2022.

Dear Customer:

WSSC will replace the water main on the 4100 Blk Rainer Avenue with new ductile iron pipe. Construction is expected to begin on June 27, 2022 and is expected to be completed by August 30, 2022, weather permitting.

All work is expected to be conducted during weekdays hours are 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. WSSC will work closely with the residents and regulatory agencies to minimize disruptions to traffic and the environment. However, it may be necessary to restrict parking during working hours. Please keep in mind, your water service may be interrupted while certain work is performed; however this will be limited to a few hours at a time. Residents will be notified in a timely manner before any service interruption.

Following construction, WSSC will immediately make temporary repairs to the street and sidewalk. A WSSC contractor will permanently patch all the affected streets or sidewalks within 45 days of the completion date.
