After years of shopping at Glut, teaching her kids to swim at PG Pool, and biking the nearby trails, Jenny moved to Mount Rainier with her family in 2019. Jenny was drawn to the City’s abundant nature, vibrant art scene, and cooperative culture. Jenny has been one of the stewards of the Food Forest since 2020 and is working to revive the Tool Library.
Mount Rainier has a strong sense of community and is racially and socioeconomically diverse. Jenny is committed to maintaining this diversity and keeping the city affordable, while also strengthening the City’s tax base. Jenny’s primary interest on Council is good governance. She is focused on ensuring that our policies and practices are aligned with the community’s values.
Currently an attorney for a company that makes devices to treat cancer, Jenny’s career has included coaching executives, writing zoning codes, lobbying in Annapolis, and drafting business plans. She has volunteered her time for nonprofit boards, and is currently Treasurer of Impact Silver Spring, a nonprofit focused on community organizing. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009.
