Hundreds of Kids Receive Toys; Families Get Free Photos with Santa Through the City’s Annual 'Breakfast and Photo with Santa' Event
Celebrate the joyous season through the City of Mount Rainier’s Annual Breakfast and Photo with Santa on December 10 at the Mount Rainier Nature Center. Mount Rainier community members can enjoy a joyous morning of arts and crafts, gift-giving, and an exclusive photo with Santa captured by a professional photographer! Kids and youth will also receive light breakfast to go.
The Breakfast and Photo Santa event is a free event hosted by the City of Mount Rainier to bring the community together during the holiday season. Mayor Celina Benitez initially introduced the event in 2018 while serving as a Councilmember to provide an opportunity for low-income members of the community to have a memorable holiday photo with their family for free, enjoy breakfast together, and bring home a toy during the holiday season.
“Some of the families in the city just have enough for everyday expenses and could not afford to pay extra to have a holiday photo or even buy toys during the holidays. Through this event, we can bring the holiday spirits, especially to our low-income families in the city,” Mayor Benitez said.
Other members of the community join the event by donating toys and offering monetary donations.
Registration is required to join the event.
