***A message from Rocio Latorre, the City’s Roadside Tree Care Expert***
Good Afternoon All,
On August 3, 2021 a vehicle traveling Northbound crashed at the circle on Rhode Island Avenue and Perry Street damaging the Zelkova tree pictured above.
As the City’s Roadside Tree Care Expert, I regret to inform you that due to the impact caused by the accident, the tree was unhealthy and/or posed a hazard. The City had a contractor remove this tree earlier today, Wednesday, August 4th.
