The City of Mount Rainier will be performing street tree maintenance starting on Monday, January 16^th, 2023. The tree maintenance is to provide adequate clearance over streets, sidewalks, driveways, and homes, as well as maintain the health and vigor of city trees. This tree maintenance will follow city tree ordinance standards and be completed by Bartlett Tree Experts. 

Trees scheduled to be removed have a posted notice for 10 business days for filing objections prior to the work starting. 

Please try to keep streets that the contractors will be working on clear of any parked vehicles during that week. Also, please do not leave parked vehicles in driveways that are under the city’s tree while the maintenance is being completed. Pruning: 3411 Newton Street and 3804 34^th Street 

Tree Removals (including stump): 4516 32^nd Street, 3602 Perry Street, 3509 Rhode Island Avenue, 2805 Upshur Street, 2802 Upshur Street, 3107 Windom Road, 2307 Varnum Street, 4115 31^st Street, 4100 33^rd Street, and 4213 28^th Street 

Tree Stump Removals: 4505 31^st Street, 4221 31^st Street, 4107 31^st Street, 4016 32^nd Street, 4017 33^rd Street, and 4612 25^th Street.
