The City of Mount Rainier is holding its annual Halloween Parade on Oct. 29 at 4 p.m. in the City’s downtown area. The Halloween event is a gathering of community members from the city and neighboring communities. Expect participants young and old clad in various spectacular Halloween costumes – from superheroes to movie and popular tv characters, princes, and princesses, to spooky characters like zombies and witches. Other community members even go all out with DIY or custom-made costumes.
“Our community members always bring in their Halloween spirits during our annual Halloween Parade. It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and have fun while dressed up in their Halloween costumes,” Mayor Benitez said.
Mayor Benitez also invites parade spectators to come out and see the parade. The parade will start on Bunker Hill Road heading up to 33rd Street and Rainier Avenue and will loop back to Bunker Hill Road.
At the end of the parade, participants will receive a treat. Light refreshments will also be provided to kids attending.
