The City of Mount Rainier has announced the date for the annual celebration of the City’s Incorporation Anniversary! After two years of absence due to the pandemic, the Mount Rainier Day Festival is set for May 14, 2022. 

Mount Rainier Day is the City’s biggest celebration of the year bringing together members of the community and visitors from neighboring communities. The celebration will kick off with a grand parade which will commence at Rhode Island Ave to the surrounding neighborhoods of the City. 

The celebration will also feature a roster of entertainers and a kid's section where the younger members of the community will be treated to a fun entertainment, games and treats! The festival will also feature a number of vendors this year.   Although the hours will be shortened and the number of vendors will be limited, the City is expecting a good mix of vendors that will provide information, food options, and merchandise to the festival’s attendees.

Applications are now available to join the parade and to participate as a vendor or entertainer.
